About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Zephyrhills and Dade City. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate digital mammography equipment to produce high-quality images for the detection of breast tumors.
  • Prepare patients for mammographic procedures, explaining the process to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Examine radiographic images for quality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Current certification with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act).
  • ARRT or MQSA and State of Florida license required.
  • Completion of required mammographic procedures and initial training as required by MQSA and/or State of Florida.
  • Current CPR certification.
