Housekeeper Job Description

The Blake at Lafayette is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
  • Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
  • Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements.
  • Use and maintain equipment properly, transport trash and hazardous waste to the appropriate disposal area, and replenish supplies as required.
Requirements:
  • A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
  • A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • A desire to work with seniors is required.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
