Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Same Day Surgery Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients.
  • Assist surgeons in operative procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
