Do you want to work as a(an) PreOp RN PRN where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity. Join our team as a Preoperative Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively for your patients. As a valued addition to our company, you will exhibit the values of HCA as a whole, as well as your individual center, providing quality care like family.
Prepare your patients’ care area adequately before case
Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for your patients’ procedure
Review your patients’ charts for completeness prior to surgery
Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required
~1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
~ online certification not acceptable
~ PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
