We are seeking a highly qualified Nursing Instructor to join our team at Southeast Community College. As a key member of our Health Sciences Division, you will be responsible for providing instruction to students in various courses, including face-to-face, online, laboratory, and clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement course syllabi according to the Program curriculum plan and SCC policies.
- Provide instruction to students in various courses, including face-to-face, online, laboratory, and clinical settings.
- Correlate classroom instruction with clinical experience through appropriate assignments and clinical conferences/evaluations.
- Evaluate students on a continual basis, keeping them apprised of their progress, and maintain accurate student records.
- Participate in the Program Assessment Plan by helping to establish benchmarks for assessing student learning and providing information to evaluate student performance against the established criteria.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current Nebraska registered nurse license or must obtain licensure in Nebraska by date of hire.
- Two (2) years experience in nursing.
- Maintain health requirements for clinical sites.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Teaching experience in post-secondary institution.
- 2 years long term care nursing experience.
