About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical and administrative duties to assist in the delivery of effective patient care
  • Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and perform vital signs and other related duties
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical practice and patient care in a clinical setting
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a Medical Assistant or equivalent
  • Recent graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Maintain BLS certification
  • Technical training in medical equipment, including AED, autoclave, BP cuffs, and more
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution
  • Registered or nationally certified Medical Assistant
  • Cross-trained in other clinical specialties, such as Ob/Gyn, Neurology, and Pediatrics
