Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and services to individuals impaired by physical illness or injury.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective therapy services to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Progress patient plans of care and communicate with supervising physical therapists regarding treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and potential discharges.
- Document patient charts and complete written communications in a timely manner.
- Establish and develop professional relations with referral sources, including physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in continuing education courses and professional meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state practicing.
- Associates degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Current CPR certification and AED training.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
