We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Hunter Health Clinic. Key Responsibilities- Answer patient phone calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
- Dispatch calls and messages to the appropriate staff members, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Input patient information accurately and efficiently, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to clinic policies and procedures.
- Provide a high level of professional service, exceeding customer expectations and promoting a positive experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Bring patient concerns or complaints to the attention of the Business Operations Manager and Patient Advocate.
- Track and monitor phone data, taking action to improve metrics and meet service benchmarks.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Superior customer service, time management, and organization skills required.
- Excellent grammar and attention to detail required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role required.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple phone calls and tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
