Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Taos Healthcare. As an LPN, you will be responsible for conducting daily nursing functions, admitting and discharging residents, and participating in facility surveys. You will also be expected to deliver high-quality care and ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily nursing functions in accordance with company, state, federal, and local rules and regulations.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with documentation of care and service provided.
  • Participate in the orientation of new residents and family members to the facility.
  • Participate in facility surveys as scheduled.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality care and resident satisfaction during shift.
  • Serve as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding quality of services provided.
  • Administer medications and treatments timely and according to facility policy.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
