Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing individual, group, and family therapy to our clients, while also serving as a liaison with families and outpatient providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning to ensure a smooth transition for clients
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model healthy relationships with food
  • Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on their unique circumstances and intersecting identities

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
