Job Summary

M.S. Walker, a leading wine and spirits distributor, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Rhode Island location. This is a full-time position working 3rd shift, Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick product from warehouse shelves by hand or with a forklift, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management.
  • Load trucks with picked product in a timely and organized manner to meet delivery schedules.
  • Receive and follow verbal direction from management, prioritizing tasks and meeting productivity standards.
  • Adhere to all company safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless task completion and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Strong visual and written recognition skills to accurately identify and distinguish products.
  • Physical ability to work at heights, walk, stand, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 45 pounds) for extended periods.
  • Dependable and team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
  • 3rd shift and warehouse experience preferred.
  • Must pass a physical exam.
