Tenet-Alabama is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Echo Technologist. This role involves performing Echocardiograms using a departmental protocol, assisting with TEE's and stress testing, and providing high-quality images to support physician diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Echocardiograms using departmental protocols and guidelines
- Assist with TEE's and stress testing, providing images that support physician diagnoses
- Identify problems and implement appropriate interventions, including reporting critical values
- Set priorities for completion of studies based on acuity, patient preference, and coordination of care with nursing and other ancillary services
- Provide EKG and Holter Services when Echo workload permits
- Education: Graduate of accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience
- Experience: 6 months in clinical setting, preferred 2 years
- Certification: Registry eligible and BLS, preferred RDMS, RDCS, or RCS
