Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Law Enforcement Officer to join our team at the City of Rowlett, TX. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining public order and safety, identifying and apprehending criminal violators, and performing related duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public order and safety
  • Identify and apprehend criminal violators
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence
  • Testify in court as required
Requirements
  • Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification required
  • Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License
  • 20/20 vision, correctable to 20/20
  • Pass a background investigation, psychological exam, and physical assessment
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends
