Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Job Summary:We are seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Supervisor to promote quality healthcare by developing and interpreting nursing philosophies and standards of care. The successful candidate will enforce adherence to nursing best practices, measure health outcomes against standards, and make or recommend adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish participant care goals and teach and counsel participants, Direct Service Professionals, family, and friends on disease, medications, healthy lifestyles, and self-care skills.
- Maintain and share knowledge of federal and state healthcare reform.
- Develop, implement, and review systems to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of operations affecting the health and behavioral health care of all participants with developmental disabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Registered Nurse.
- Three to five (3-5) years of progressive healthcare management experience.
- Experience in community nursing and/or developmental disabilities.
- Good organizational skills, good communication skills, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient use of computer software for recordkeeping, form development, word processing, and experience with database design and maintenance.
- Possess valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
