Mental Health Specialist for Veteran Disability Assessments

Job OverviewWe are seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor. As a mental health specialist, you will perform comprehensive assessments on United States veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Responsibilities- Review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal
- Perform in-person assessments on each veteran
- Complete disability benefits questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal
Please note that this role does not involve making disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program
- An active and unrestricted psychology license

Estimated Salary RangeThe estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, depending on location and experience.
