We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department. As a PACU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations, addressing their physical, emotional, and general needs in the surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including pre-procedure assessments, post-procedure care, and pain management.
- Assess and reassess patient needs, formulating individualized plans of care and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing policies, and hospital standards.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS certificate.
- Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care PACU setting.
- Current ACLS required.
- Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty.
