Registered Nurse, PACU, Part-Time Days

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU department at Sierra Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced PACU environment.
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments on all patients and reassess post-procedure as needed
• Formulate individualized plans of care and evaluate their effectiveness
• Assess and reassess pain, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques and educating patients and families regarding pain management
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesiology teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Current Nevada nursing license
• Current BLS certificate
• Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care PACU setting
• Current ACLS required
• Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment) in required specialty
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
