Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled IT Financial Business Analyst to provide support to the Compliance Technology Services (CTS) leadership team.

This position will focus on managing direct financial activities, including comprehensive reporting, metrics analysis, and oversight of allocations along with overall business office functions.

The selected candidate will ensure that all routine reporting and ad hoc tasks are executed in a timely and consistent manner across the organization.

This role is crucial for the organization as it guarantees the effective delivery of business office services, emphasizing accuracy, timeliness, consistency, efficiency, and the reduction of redundancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior technology managers with financial activities related to Software and Fixed Price contract execution.
  • Assist in managing all Fixed Price and Software contract activities in collaboration with internal teams and sourcing departments.
  • Conduct forensic analysis and investigations regarding financial impacts of Fixed Price Contracts (FPC) and Software, proactively addressing any potential adverse effects.
  • Facilitate payment processes through the Accounts Payable workflow and perform monthly audits of invoices for reporting purposes.
  • Monitor all Financial Transfer Requests across groups in GFT for both Fixed Price and Software projects.
  • Provide insights on financial re-forecasting cycles and manage entries in financial tools.
  • Collaborate with Financial Controllers on the monthly accrual process, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Analyze cross-sector financials and evaluate monthly trends and forecasts across CTS.
  • Review financial reports monthly to identify cost-saving opportunities and validate charges, reversing them as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively across GFT to refine systems and global processes, offering feedback and insights on efficiency improvements related to Fixed Price and Software financial processes, along with enhancements to financial systems (Renault & PTS 2.0).
Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Finance technology or Analytics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, financial systems, and managing performance metrics in a complex, global environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with VBA, database management, and analytics, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with senior leadership in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in financial systems or technology charges is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to engage with senior management effectively.
  • Solid project and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to participate in virtual and cross-team collaborations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation:
$35-$40/hr W2 (Negotiable)


The specific compensation for this position will be determined by various factors, including the role's scope, complexity, and market labor costs; the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience; and other employment conditions.
