About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to join our team in the Oncology department. As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment to individuals with cancer and other related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
  • Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
  • Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety
  • Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
  • Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
  • 1 year of RN experience in Oncology or Chemo Therapy preferred
  • BSN is preferred
  • BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required
