We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System.
About the Role:This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
- Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- Registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registered as a Technologist (ARMRIT)- Advance Registry MRI Technology within one calendar year of hire
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
