Job Title: Senior SQL Database Specialist

Job Overview:

The Senior SQL Database Specialist will be responsible for providing all activities related to the administration of computerized databases, writing SQL Server queries, and conducting backend development for the CATCH project and other TANF-related projects as needed. This role will also involve managing system DBs as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Application Software Development (ASD) Division for database-related activities on the CATCH project.
  • Develop and implement high-quality database solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment.
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration and optimization.
  • Conduct quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
  • Provide expert knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL) environment and apply it to develop high-quality database solutions.
  • Research and analyze data requirements to develop effective database solutions.
  • Assist with activities related to the design and administration of databases.

Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end/back-end programming languages. The ideal candidate will have experience with database design, development, and administration, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
