Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality systems are aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct supplier quality system surveys and audits to ensure compliance with ISO/TS-16949 requirements.
  • Review and approve supplier PPAPs and trial runs, and initiate corrective action if necessary.
  • Develop and maintain internal procedures, work instructions, and forms to satisfy quality system requirements.
  • Maintain records to demonstrate positive control and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Management Reviews of quality systems and assist in the training of associates in quality system understanding.
  • Support and coordinate efforts in preparation for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compute and relate to customer production defect information, such as scrap and inspection data.
  • Work with management to prevent recurring non-conformances and participate in Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Perform job duties within the guidelines of the Supplier Quality Manual and ISO/TS-16949 procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Associate's degree with at least four years of relevant work experience may be substituted).
  • Minimum of five years of Automotive/Quality experience.
  • Knowledge of PPAP/submission process systems or equivalent.
  • Blue print reading and GD&T skills.
  • Knowledge of SPC, MSA, and GR&R.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
  • Flexibility to perform multiple job duties and work at a quick pace.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or alternate shifts as required.
