Host/Hostess Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at Fixins Soul Kitchen. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, ensuring a comfortable and memorable arrival.
  • Manage reservations and seating, ensuring efficient table turnover while prioritizing guest comfort and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional communication skills, both in-person and on the phone, to answer inquiries and convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Understand and anticipate guest needs, providing personalized attention and exceeding expectations to create a memorable dining experience.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive dining environment for all guests.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience hosting in an upscale restaurant setting.
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Impeccable appearance and demeanor, reflecting the standards of an upscale dining establishment.
