Job Overview

Position Summary: We are excited to present an opportunity for a skilled Lead HVAC Technician specializing in both Boiler and Chiller systems. Technicians will be dispatched from home and provided with a company vehicle, along with weekly pay and additional perks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair various types of steam and hot water systems, including cast iron boilers and brands such as Copper Finn, RaypaK, and Milwaukee.
  • Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on air-cooled chillers, including screw and centrifugal types, with capacities up to 500 tons.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while overseeing installations, troubleshooting issues, and providing recommendations for system replacements.
  • Focus on commercial and industrial clients, ensuring comprehensive service and safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage boiler room electrical and mechanical systems, including feedwater systems and combustion analysis.
  • Perform refrigerant leak testing, operational inspections, coil cleaning, and other maintenance tasks on chiller systems.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians in boiler and chiller service and maintenance practices.
Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of experience with commercial boiler and/or chiller systems.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively to troubleshoot and maintain various burner types, including Raypak, Milwaukee, and Honeywell.
  • Proficiency in handling high/low steam and hot water boilers that do not meet 90% efficiency standards.
  • Experience with scroll and screw air-cooled chillers up to 500 tons. Candidates should possess their own hand tools and a valid driver's license.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs and work at heights.
  • Boiler Operator and refrigeration licenses are preferred.
