Electrical Assembly Technician

Position Overview
The Electrical Assembly Technician will be an integral part of our assembly department. This role focuses on the assembly of conveyor systems and their accessories, ensuring quality through testing and preparing products for shipment.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday
6:00am - 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components of conveyor systems using hand tools, following technical drawings and work orders.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to identify defects and perform quality assurance checks.
- Troubleshoot issues with non-conforming parts during the assembly and electrical processes.
- Expedite orders as necessary to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure product specifications are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace through 5S practices.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings to install electrical components accurately.
- Provide assistance in other assembly areas as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical assembly is preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, lower, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
- Strong mechanical and electrical understanding, with basic skills in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Capable of adapting to changing priorities and job demands.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $25, depending on experience.
