Job Overview

General Purpose

The role involves the assembly of machinery, equipment, and subassemblies by adhering to assembly diagrams, written instructions, and verbal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to effectively execute mechanical assemblies.

2. Adhere to established protocols and wiring schematics to correctly route and connect electrical wiring systems.

3. Employ hand and power tools throughout the assembly process.

4. Utilize various fasteners to assemble components.

5. Bend, route, and install both flexible and rigid tubing for pneumatic systems in accordance with schematic diagrams.

6. Conduct measurements of components for quality inspection and fit.

7. Apply problem-solving techniques and basic mathematical skills as necessary.

8. Perform tests or assist in testing the functionality of the finished product.

9. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical assembly is essential. Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are required to efficiently complete tasks. Effective communication skills are necessary for collaboration within a team environment and interaction with other departments.


An associate's degree from a two-year college or a minimum of one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
