Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of their communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Administer and interpret assessment tools to measure patient progress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or Master's Equivalent in Speech/Language Pathology from an AHSA accredited university program
  • Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Washington
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology from ASHA
  • Current BLS certification
  • 1-2 years Inpatient hospital experience
