Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at A+ Consulting. As a key member of our Patient Services team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.
As a Phlebotomist II, you will work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your excellent phlebotomy skills to collect blood samples from patients of all ages. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, ensuring accurate labeling and handling.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient demographic information and laboratory results.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing your skills and judgment to make decisions and solve problems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical training or certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
