Phlebotomy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Equiliem. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing by labeling and packaging them according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and laboratory results.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
