About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mass General Brigham, working in our Main Operating Room.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical/surgical nursing, with a focus on ophthalmology and otolaryngology. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with interns, residents, fellows, and attending physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering exceptional patient care through the utilization of the nursing process
  • Directing and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of nursing practice
  • Caring for patients undergoing ophthalmology and otolaryngology procedures
  • Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • 2+ years of medical/surgical nursing experience required
  • OR nursing experience required
  • Related experience required for advanced clinical and specialty areas
  • Demonstrates leadership activities; able to work under stressful situation; and possesses well-developed verbal and written communication skills
About the Location

This position is located at our Main Operating Room in Boston, Massachusetts. The shifts are available M-F, generally 2 8-hour and 2 10-hour shifts.
