Maintain the highest standards of patient care as a Surgical Care Specialist in our esteemed Operating Department at Mass General Brigham. This is an exceptional opportunity to utilize your expertise in Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology patient care, working collaboratively with interns, residents, fellows, and attending physicians.

About the Role

This 32-hour per week position requires you to be available Monday through Friday, generally working four 8-hour shifts at our Main Campus in Boston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized patient care, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to hospital policies and regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a strong foundation in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of medical/surgical experience preferred. A bachelor's degree in Nursing is also highly desirable. Additionally, you should have a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts and demonstrate excellent leadership skills, verbal and written communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
