Job Overview

Position Summary

Park Aerospace Corp. is seeking a qualified professional to deliver functional support for Oracle Applications and Databases, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. This role will require collaboration on development initiatives and system upgrades, with some travel to various company locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the procurement of IT-related capital equipment.
  • Act as the main liaison with the application service provider.
  • Evaluate application modification requests to ensure they align with operational practices.
  • Maintain adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
  • Organize and prioritize development tasks.
  • Engage with plant and corporate leadership regarding IT matters.
  • Provide support for Oracle Manufacturing and Financial systems.
  • Deliver troubleshooting, analysis, and solutions for technical challenges.
  • Serve as a bridge between the Oracle development team and end users.
  • Propose enhancements for business processes and efficiencies.
  • Participate in Oracle system implementations and upgrades.
  • Manage user accounts and deliver tier III technical support.
  • Be involved in on-call support for urgent requirements.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Application functionalities.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial systems.
  • Familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of relational database principles and experience with SQL and Visual Basic.
  • General awareness of computer and printer hardware.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for data interpretation.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
