At WelbeHealth, our Home Care Assistants play a crucial role in delivering essential support to our clients within their residences. As integral members of our interdisciplinary team (IDT), they contribute significantly to the care planning process, ensuring our participants receive the highest quality of care in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) to WelbeHealth clients in their homes, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and assisting with physical transfers.
- Support clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
- Assist with light meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients maintain proper nutrition and hydration.
- Facilitate safe transfers in and out of homes and serve as a medical escort for clients during transportation to medical appointments as required.
