Volt is seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our team in Rancho Dominguez, California. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Packaging: Load peanuts and chocolate products into containers, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging processes.
- Quality Control: Weigh and metal detect products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate automated industrial equipment, including kettle batching systems.
- Material Handling: Work with raw materials, inspecting them for quality and ensuring they meet company standards.
- Physical Demands: Frequently push or pull material and/or equipment weighing up to 45 lbs, stand, and walk throughout the production area.
- Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the team.
- Team Player: Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, unload boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, and meet the physical demands of the production environment.
- Knowledge and Experience: Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and experience in food packaging or manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work holidays, some weekends, or Fridays as needed.
Volt offers a competitive pay rate of $17.27 per hour. The pay range may vary based on factors such as education, work experience, location, and specific job duties.
