Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, provide design oversight, and manage a diverse range of civil engineering projects.
  • Engage with clients on current projects and strategically position the firm for future opportunities.
  • Supervise technical staff effectively to ensure project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project scope, budget, and schedule while meeting all deliverables.
  • Assist in business development efforts to strengthen client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington and/or Oregon.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public works transportation.
  • Experience mentoring civil project engineers and Engineer-in-Training (EIT) professionals.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
  • Experience in writing specifications and preparing engineering cost estimates.
  • Interest or experience in business development to enhance client relationships and secure new projects.

Note: Salary information is a general guideline based on experience and qualifications, along with market considerations. The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $160,000 annually, along with an initial signing bonus and annual profit-sharing opportunities. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Flexibility in the workplace is offered, allowing team members to work from home up to two days a week.
