The Clinical Nurse Manager plays a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient care at Mount Carmel Health System. This leadership position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing patient care on a daily operational basis in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements effective patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Supervises and evaluates the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Identifies and addresses opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Participates in budget development and management, ensuring effective use of resources to support patient care and staff development.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships with staff, physicians, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of collaboration and respect.
Requirements:
- Graduate from a school of nursing; BSN required.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of two years' recent and relevant clinical experience in a cardiovascular progressive care unit.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care.
