STV Incorporated is seeking a Hydraulic Engineering Specialist to join our esteemed Water Resource Design Team within the Transportation and Infrastructure Division.


The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in hydraulic engineering and will be responsible for the following tasks related to our diverse transportation initiatives:

  • Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, along with the preparation of erosion and sediment control plans.
  • Securing necessary permits from environmental regulatory bodies.
  • Leading project teams in the design of storm sewer systems, including detailed calculations and modeling in accordance with industry standards.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing designs for grading, Best Management Practices (BMP), and stormwater management systems.
  • Performing comprehensive analyses for stormwater pre and post-construction, including volume, rate, and water quality assessments.
  • Serving as the Professional Engineer (PE) responsible for the quality assurance of drainage and stormwater documentation.

The successful candidate will integrate seamlessly into project delivery teams, manage multiple project timelines, and provide mentorship to junior staff in water resource engineering.

Key qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Successful completion of the Professional Engineer (PE) examination.
  • Proficiency in hydrology and hydraulics design software, including MicroStation and Bentley products.
  • Familiarity with state-specific stormwater regulations and permitting processes.

Compensation Range:
$70,000 - $94,102.00
