Job Overview

At Developmental Options, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Care Associate to join our team.

About the Role

This role involves working in an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID), where you will provide support and assistance to residents with daily living activities, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, grooming, and self-administration of medication. You will also be responsible for taking vitals of residents, assisting with medical appointments, and ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and yourself.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care and support to residents with daily living activities
  • Take vital signs of residents and assist with medical appointments as needed
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of residents in the everyday operation of the facility
Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Valid C.N.A. certification with the State of Idaho
  • Pass Health and Welfare Background check; drug screen, and adhere to a drug-free workplace
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to lift or move 50 pounds
Compensation and Benefits

$17.50 per hour with regular training pay increases at 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months. At 2 years, merit raises are provided annually. All employees accrue paid vacation and sick time after 6 months of employment. Other benefits are available (medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short-term disability insurance) based on position. After 1 year of employment, qualified staff have the opportunity to participate in the 401(k) contribution with Developmental Options matching up to 5%.
