Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our team at the Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA). As a key member of our Data Operations and Technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ETL systems to extract and transform data from diverse sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement ETL systems to extract and transform data from diverse sources.
  • Work with multiple database technologies, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand source system structures and data retrieval methods.
  • Develop data transformation logic using ETL tools or scripting languages like SQL, Bash, and Python.
  • Clean, validate, and transform data to conform to target schema and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with ETL tools such as IBM DataStage or Qlik Talend.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows systems.
  • Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database technologies.
  • Experience with languages such as SQL and Bash.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, hybrid, or in-person work environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC models.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA policies and working with PII and PHI sensitive data.
  • Demonstrated success working collaboratively on an IT team with diverse skillsets.
