Talend Developer with Talend Certification in Boston

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer to join our team at GATE Insight, Inc. in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration and a proven track record of developing ETL processes using Talend Data Fabric.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement ETL processes using Talend Data Fabric to extract and transform data from diverse sources, such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server databases.
Collaborate with team members to understand source system structures and data retrieval methods/techniques, and tools within the organization.
Develop database tables necessary along with the necessary constraints as per the requirement.
Clean, validate, and transform data to conform to target schema and quality standards.
Participate in troubleshooting activities to maintain data integrity and process efficiency.
Qualifications:
Five years' experience using Talend Data Fabric in a professional environment.
Demonstrable knowledge with the Talend Data Fabric tool, ESB, and MDM development tasks and processes, particularly creating ETL from technical specifications and converting ETL from other third-party ETL tools and frameworks.
Five years' experience working for a health data organization performing ETL development activities.
Three years' experience with database, data warehouse, ETL, business intelligence, or software development.
Experience in developing projects using Talend with Data Integration and Cloud Integration working with large datasets.
Experience with cloud technologies (Clienture/AWS) and Microsoft DevOps Git Repos.
Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database technologies.
Able to create/modify tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other DB objects.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA policies and working with PII and PHI sensitive data.
Effective at managing competing priorities and can work independently with little or no supervision.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills: verbal and written, along with excellent documentation skills.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines while maintaining well-organized, detailed, and process-oriented work habits.
