Job Title: Commercial Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our Commercial Insurance team. As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding new business targets, securing new clients, and ensuring the successful on-boarding of new clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure new clients, ensuring successful on-boarding.
  • Advise clients and make recommendations to clients.
  • Attend key conferences to generate new opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts using pipeline reporting.
  • Support the Specialist Insurance Leader and Specialist Insurance Account Manager with managing relationships with key partners.
  • Work with Service and Renewals to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Provide insurance advice to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
  • Treat customers fairly at all times in adherence with the FCA TCF principles.
  • Identify opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the cross-sell process.

Requirements:

  • Sound technical knowledge of insurance gained in a Broker or Insurance company environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both orally and visually.
  • Ability to exceed individual targets and achieve deadlines.

  • Ability to understand people and build rapport and adapt styles of communication.
  • Ability to manage own diary and workload effectively and work to tight deadlines with accuracy of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to spot and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Ability to use a CRM tool (preferably Salesforce) effectively from both an opportunity management and reporting perspective.
