Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled attorney specializing in labor and employment law to enhance our collaborative team. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a variety of legal matters and assist clients in navigating the complexities of employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise employers on adherence to federal and state employment regulations, including wage and hour laws, workplace safety, and anti-discrimination policies.
- Draft and Review: Prepare and assess employment agreements, severance packages, employee manuals, and organizational policies that influence workplace dynamics.
- Litigation Representation: Advocate for clients in court regarding wrongful termination, discrimination claims, and wage-related disputes, gaining valuable courtroom experience.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough research to stay informed on the latest trends and changes in employment law, ensuring the provision of innovative legal counsel.
- Collaboration: Work alongside senior attorneys and engage in team discussions, contributing your insights while learning from experienced professionals.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution and active membership in the California State Bar.
- 2-6 years of experience in labor and employment law, preferably with a focus on management representation.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with clients and colleagues.
