Job Summary

We are currently seeking an Assembler specializing in bench work to join our team at Leonardo DRS. This role requires the ability to produce quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, process flow instructions, and other written or verbal instructions to perform advanced-level assembly functions, which may include prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.
  • Interpret blueprints, process flow instructions, and other written or verbal instructions to perform advanced-level assembly functions.
  • May perform soldering and installation of components to contract specifications, using a wide range of tools and equipment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty area (e.g., welding, tool making).
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must be eligible for active DOD security clearance.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
