Dental Care Support Specialist

At Axess Family Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dental department, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality dental care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with various procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials to the highest standards.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including educating patients on oral hygiene and reinforcing instructions.
- Stock and maintain operatory rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Chart and document patient procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain OSHA standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- X-ray certification in Ohio and ability to perform digital radiography.
- CPR certification.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting, standing, and walking, as well as occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment:
The work environment is a fast-paced dental office with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
