We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Granville Towers in Chapel Hill, NC. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, and pastries, according to established recipes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a range of baked goods, including breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, and pastries, using standardized recipes and production worksheets.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all baked goods meet the required standards.
- Receive, stock, and deliver goods, including ingredients and supplies, to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
- Stand for long periods of time and perform physical tasks, such as lifting and carrying heavy objects, to meet the demands of the role.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation methods, techniques, and quality standards, as well as maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies, and materials.
- Food safety certification and ability to follow standardized recipes, menus, and production worksheets.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
