About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at American Campus Communities. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, and pastries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, rolls, and other baked goods according to standardized recipes and production worksheets.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, stock, and deliver goods as needed to maintain a well-stocked pantry and kitchen.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must have a food handler's certification card with the local regulatory agency.
