Job Summary:

We are seeking a clinically proficient, licensed, and professional Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who will be responsible for delivering primary and urgent care services. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, and treating patients under the mandated supervision of a licensed physician.

The ideal candidate will educate patients on nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare to enhance their overall health and outcomes. A commitment to fostering a climate of trust and compassion for patients is essential. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and clinical staff, is vital to form an efficient and high-performing medical team.

The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and accountability in a fast-paced environment that requires efficiency and thoroughness. A team-oriented mindset is crucial, along with the ability to communicate ideas and goals clearly while being an effective listener.

All duties must be performed in strict compliance with clinic policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal, state, local, and regulatory standards. Ensuring compliance by support staff is necessary, as is adherence to ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety standards.

Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all health information privacy laws is a must. Accurate record-keeping that is confidential, up-to-date, and legible is required, along with a solid understanding of evaluation and management (E&M) coding guidelines.

Utilizing leadership and professional development skills to assure quality patient care and medical practice is essential. The candidate will act as a role model and, in selected situations, precept clinical staff and other advanced practice healthcare professionals. Adherence to productivity standards and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) as determined by leadership is expected.

Regular and punctual attendance is required. The role demands physical strength and stamina for prolonged standing, walking, sitting, and managing stressful situations. The ability to lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel is necessary, along with good manual dexterity for the use of common office and medical equipment.

Compliance with current guidelines for personal protective equipment is essential to protect staff and others from potential exposure to infectious materials and biohazards.

Other related clinical tasks, administrative duties, or special tasks may be assigned as required. The candidate should be open to accepting additional responsibilities and participating in various activities and committees as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Nurse Practitioners must possess a Master's Degree and prescriptive authority.
  • Must hold an appropriate Oklahoma License and Certification.
  • National certification relevant to the credential.
  • Current Oklahoma PA or NP License.
  • Must maintain current BLS certification or obtain it before commencing work.
