We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UCHealth (Colorado) in Aurora, Colorado.
Job Summary:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, delivering and assessing response to ordered therapy per plan of care. You will evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with respiratory disorders.
- Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
- Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
- Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- NRP obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU; tracked on unit.
