Concrete Finisher and Foreperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Concrete Finisher and Foreperson to join our team at Utilities Service Co Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of various concrete projects, including forming, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces.

• Build and install formwork according to plans and specifications.
• Layout and install anchor bolts, templates, and rebar cages.
• Calculate and order concrete volumes accurately.
• Pour, smooth, and level concrete surfaces.
• Clean and inspect surfaces for quality and accuracy.
• Operate a company-provided pick-up truck to transport equipment and personnel.
• Perform routine maintenance on the truck and report any issues to the General Foreperson.
• Work effectively with customers and the general public, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Assist with on-site work duties and supervise a small crew as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work independently and lead a small crew.

• Prior experience in concrete finishing and foremanship is preferred.

• Rarely: crawling, climbing poles, gripping, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs.
• Occasionally: climbing on/off truck, lifting, carrying, lifting over 50 lbs.
• Frequently: sitting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting, carrying, lifting up to 10 lbs., lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs.
• Continuously: standing, walking, body-twisting, speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, reading, reaching, range-of-motion, hearing-speech range, depth perception.

Due to the nature of the work, employees must be able to withstand exposure to various weather conditions, wear personal protective equipment as necessary, and maintain attention and concentration for extended periods.
