This is a challenging role that requires a high level of skill and expertise in concrete finishing and construction. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all concrete work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Form, pour, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces, including sidewalks, roads, and curbs.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
- Direct and supervise laborers to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
- Perform various tasks associated with concrete finishing, including bending and tying rebar cages.
- Calculate concrete volumes to accurately order materials.
- Operate a company-provided pick-up truck to transport equipment and personnel.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work independently and lead a small crew.
- Prior experience in concrete finishing or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and walk on uneven terrain.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
